CULTURAL “BOOM” AT BORYSPIL AIRPORT
Boryspil International Airport celebrates the Final of the "Eurovision-2017" Song Contest with much eclat. The main gateway of Ukraine prepares the range of festive events on the occasion of the euromusic event. Coming up, the masterful bandura-players chapel performance, a grand-scale Day of the Crimean Tatar culture and the opening of two exhibitions jointly with "Ukrposhta" and "Artania" Foundation.
The next week brings two festive events at once for the Airport passengers and guests. On Thursday, 4 April foreign guests will be welcomed by the H. I. Maiboroda National Honored Bandurist Choir. The performance carrying out the best Ukrainian cultural traditions will begin at 17:30 in Terminal D Duty Free zone.
The next day, on Friday, the festive spirit of virtuosos will be prolonged by the talented artists of the Day of the Crimean Tatar Culture celebration. The waiting hall near Gate 9 in Duty Free zone will become a real dancehall. Effective music program with remarkable ethnic dancing and singing, contests, quizzes, and naturally Crimean Tatar cuisine treat will be arranged for the passengers. The event starts at 17:30.
After a small pause for the weekends, on 10 May, Boryspil Airport invites for the opening of designer post-boxes exhibition by "Ukrposhta" and the works exposition by a famous painter Yurii Khimich by "Artania" Foundation. The creativeness of designers involved by the main post operator of Ukraine and the artworks by a famous Ukrainian artist will symbolically reveal the heritage of artistic generations of Ukrainian graphic designers. This remarkable festive event will pass the torch to the main event of the month - the Final of "Eurovision-2017". Boryspil Airport invites to celebrate it creatively and exquisitely.
