BORYSPIL AIRPORT CREDIT RATING GROWS TO THE MAXIMUM LEVEL
On 28 April 2017, IBI-Rating company, the leading rating agency of Ukraine, reported the growth of Boryspil Airport credit rating and its obligations to the maximum in the corporate sector of Ukraine "uaaa+". In the process of credit rating update, the Enterprise accounting for 2016 was used, as well as the information acquired in the course of the ranking process.
According to the Credit Rating Update Report, Boryspil Airport is highly creditworthy. The growth of credit rating was achieved due to the Enterprise revenues and performance efficiency increase, high level of its commercial viability and liquidity.
"According to the results of 2016, Boryspil International Airport State Enterprise reached the maximum performance over the entire history of its existence, confirming the effectiveness of complex measures on the State Airport reforming. In accordance with the Airports Council International rating ACI Europe, in 2016 Boryspil Airport ranked third in the growth rates among the European airports, handling up to 10 million passengers", as referred to in the Rating Renewal Report.
The Boryspil Airport Chief Executive Officer, Pavlo Ryabikin noted that high credit rating confirms the financial stability of the State Enterprise. "The growth of the Airport credit rating is a reasonable proof of the efficient financial improvement process, implemented during the last years. The expert analysis proves that Airport is on the right way", said the Head of the Airport.
