Presentation of the biggest airliner of Austrian Airlines long-haul fleet, which took place on December 7, 2016, has become the event of the day for Boryspil Airport. The solemn meeting of the Austrian fleet flagship gathered a countless number of journalists and spotters and has been held in a relaxed festive format.
During the official part of the event the guests were welcomed by Yevhenii Dykhne, the Head of Boryspil Airport and Rene Koinzack, the Regional Manager of Lufthansa Group for Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia and Armenia. "It's really an event for us, because the last time Boryspil Airport welcomed Boeing 777 only 8-9 years ago, and this year we celebrate the anniversary of Austrian Airlines flights to Kyiv», - said Yevhenii Dykhne. On the occasion of the International Civil Aviation Day, which coincided with arrival of Boeing 777, the Director of Boryspil Airport also congratulated the airliner crew and the Austrian partners on their professional holiday in German.
Lufthansa Group Representative in Ukraine, in turn, said that Austrian Airlines hoped for regular visits of the fleet flagship to Boryspil. "We hope that our Boeing 777 will delight Boryspil Airport by its regular Vienna-Kyiv flights ", said Rene Koinzack. Impressions of the public from the state-of-the-art cabin confirmed that from now on this aircraft would be a very welcome guest at Boryspil. Luxurious and comfortable aircraft equipment surprised all the attendees and the hospitable crew, which arranged tasting of food and drinks for the guests, was in the center of a continuous photo session.
